Probabilité obtenue à partir de la probabilité a priori, corrigée ou améliorée grâce à l'information supplémentaire provenant d'une étude.

La méthode qui permet d'obtenir les probabilités à posteriori à partir des probabilités a priori est la formule de Bayes.
