Rayonnement électromagnétique émis par toute particule chargée, généralement un électron, décrivant une orbite circulaire normalement à un champ magnétique uniforme. Les rémanents de supernovae et les électrons relativistes déviés par le champ magnétique des pulsars émettent un rayonnement synchrotron
