Predictive Search
is a feature based on popular searches to predict a user's search query as it is typed, providing a drop-down menu of suggestions that changes as the user adds more words to the search engine. Predictive search in Google™ search engine was introduced with auto-complete, which helps users to search and get results quicker. The arrival of Google Now® took this further, proactively providing users with information that they were likely to need (based on their search habits etc.)
