Holt-Winters Forecasting

Holt-Winters is one of the most popular forecasting techniques for time series. The model predicts the future values computing the combined effects of both trend and seasonality. The idea behind Holt’s Winter forecasting is to apply exponential smoothing to the seasonal components in addition to level and trend.
