Human-in-the-loop

refers to the process of inserting humans into machine learning processes to optimize outputs and boost accuracy. HITL is widely recognized as a best practice technique in machine learning: examples include Facebook’s photo recognition algorithm which invites users to confirm the identity of a photo’s subject when its confidence falls below a certain level.
