Définition
L'effet ELIZA désigne une tendance inconsciente d'assimiler le comportement d'un logiciel à celui d'un être humain (anthropomorphisme).
Compléments
L'effet ELIZA tire son nom des expérimentations avec un dialogueur (ELIZA) issu des travaux Joseph Weizenbaum qui simulait un psychothérapeute en reformulant la plupart des affirmations du « patient » en guise de réponse.
