Définition
Un indice dans lequel les éléments sont pondérés selon un système de poids reflétant leur importance relative.
Dans un sens, presque tous les indices sont pondérés par implication, il est toutefois habituel de qualifier un indice de "pondéré" uniquement lorsque des coefficients de pondération entrent explicitement dans sa définition et son calcul.
