Regression SVM
although mainly used for classification analysis, support vector machines (SVMs) can also be used to sort the data used in regression analysis (modeling the relationships between response variables and predictor variables). Models produced by support vector regression (SVR) only draw on a subset of training data because their cost function ignores any training data close to the model prediction.
