PHOTONIQUE
Définition
Il s’agit d’un phénomène d’interférence non désiré d’un signal provenant d’un canal de communication qui affecte d’autres signaux dans d’autres canaux à proximité. La mesure de la diaphonie sert à évaluer la qualité des dispositifs commerciaux de commutation basés sur les longueurs d’onde. Par exemple, la diaphonie intercanaux et la diaphonie intermodale limitent la performance de dispositifs utilisant le multiplexage par répartition en longueur d’onde et le multiplexage par répartition en mode, respectivement.
