Utilisation de technologies avancées telles que l'intelligence artificielle, l'apprentissage machine et l'automatisation des processus par la robotique , pour automatiser des tâches qui étaient autrefois accomplies par des humains.

L'hyperautomatisation ne se réfère pas seulement aux tâches et aux processus qui peuvent être automatisés, mais aussi au niveau d'automatisation.

Elle est souvent considérée comme la prochaine grande phase de transformation numérique.
